biked from my house over to TJ's the first time i was there and drank three pints of this for "hoppy hour". man i floated home.
poured a rich golden with a slight haze. there was a nice head, like fluffy snow.
the flavor was very malty, fruity, with a very good bitterness. the cascade hop leap from the glass to the nose, little bit of apple in there also.
i hope they make this again, but i dought it since greg is no longer the brewer.

Golden, to copper in color, with a tight white head which leaves very little lace on the glass. Somewhat cidery bouquet, with hops in the background. The flavor is quite a departure from the aroma, bitter and malty (not overly sweet), with some spices in the background. The finish reminds me of vaguely of pumpkin pie. I like the flavor that lingers on my tongue, like toffee. This is a nice warmer for late summer.
