On tap (reviewed from old tasting notes - notes from my first time at Kuhnhenn in fact). Tried alongside its big brother, A Few Too Many Shillings. Trying the far bolder imperial version did no favors to this beer. It's a respectable, true-to-the-style interpretation of the Scottish Ale, but the biscuit and light cherry elements are overpowered by an overly sweet malt base. With so many outstanding beers to try at Kuhnhenn on the rare visit up to Michigan, this isn't one I'd spend time on.
