This beer, brewed in collaboration with guest brewers Wayne Burns and Laura Worley, truly defies categorization. An amalgam of styles, we like to call it a Belgian-Black-Triple-Rye-India-Pale-Ale. Candied orange and minty hops come through in the nose, with a hint of warm spice and caraway. The flavor is toffee-like malt with a touch of roast, and a medium bitterness to play off of the fresh-baked rye bread peppery notes. The long caramel finish turns dry with just a hint of heat.
