Another nice brew from Kuhnhenn's. The menu notes "Belgian character," and some of the sweetness and just the tiniest hint of spiciness would back that statement up. But this is really approaching dryness in an English sort of way.
A bit mild on the nose. Alcohol and caramel in the nose. Chocolate malts and just a hint of caramel for flavor. (Arrgh, I wish I'd had more room for notes on my napkin.) Really strange peak of sweetness driven by the alcohol is knocked down by a numbing English hop bitterness.
