Thanks to kkulacki for filling my growler for me (again!) Pours a tawny red with a nice, dense, well-packed head. Smells fruity and tangy, with a bright yeasty note. Some odor of overripe grapefruits. Taste is a tangy, mildly sour, amber malt base. Slightly biscuity. Hint of black pepper, but otherwise fairly mild and smooth. Soft and medium bodied. Somewhat creamy. Easy to drink, if a little pedestrian for a Kuhnhenn beer (I mean that as a compliment, though it may not come off that way...ive had so much AMAZING stuff from these guys).

This is a beautifully crafted beer, especially considering it's style.
Pours a deep and clear amber in color with a light tan head that dissapted fairly quickly. Nose is very sweet smelling, sort of a honey-like quality happening here, attractive. Taste is very nice, estery; quite sweet. Herbal qualities, candied sugar. Very pungant and strong, alcohol overly present considering it's ABV, but not in a bad way. This one would make one gorgeous session brew, in fact I think I'll have a go at the rest of this growler.

from the tap at the brewery poured amber with off white head aroma fruity, peaches, apple. at 1st I did not care to much for this but as the palate got use to it I liked it it went down smooth and easy.could have gone through a few of these. this is one of those beers you would like to have on a hot summer day
