Had this on-tap at HopCat in Grand Rapids. Poured into a lager glass. It's a hazy brownish-red with a white head. Lots of lacing.
Smell is overall malty, with a nice hop finish.
Taste, too, has a malty center. Some dark berries in there. Bitter finish.
Nice carbonation - appropriate to the style.
Not a bad beer at all. Probably one of the most memorable Alts I've tried. I'll definitely come back to it.

Poured straight from the tap at the Kuhnhenn pub.
I was coaxed into this one by it's creator, Scotty at Kuhhenn and I'm glad I let him talk me into it. Not too many sticke alts in my area!
Poured a deep mahogany color with a medium tan head. Very sediment laden, but I'm told normally it pours much clearer. Nose seemed a bit malty and almost sweet with a little harshness in the overtone, but nothing harrowing in fact it begged to be sipped. The taste was very nice and smooth, very well balanced between the malts and hops, also notes of toasted caramel in the background. I could drink a few too many of these I'm sure.
Good job Scotty, keep it up.

from my favorite brewery, from the tap. poured a nicec brownish red. aroma, caramels, malts and some hops, and a hint of alcohol. this was differant than I am use toin the aroma area so it took me a while to get the the aromas I got. flavors, mild amounts of caramels malts and hops this is a well balanced beer for me. I hope they brewered a lot of this stuff.
