I enjoy this. Tastes very much like some sort of Christmas ale? -- spiced like one, at least. Cinnamon and clove up front with a caramel sweet finish. Not at all cloying. Not a ton of depth and not a crazy unique "must-try" beer, but it's tasty now, and would be great around the holidays. Hides the heat well, but it'll still warm you up. Worth a try, for sure.

Received as an extra in a trade.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice clearish chestnut hue with a thin head that fades to leave light wisps.
S - Aromas of Belgian esters, dark sugars, sweet malts. Very weird spice notes. Weird banana bread like notes too.
T - Taste is more Belgian ester, very doughy, loads of banana bread like. Super weird spice notes, rather assertive.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, smooth, alcohol hidden nicely.
O - Overall this was a solid beer, very interesting spice notes though. The Belgian characteristics are solid.

Thanks to rudzud
Small fizzy head fades at a quick pace, dark hazy brown ruby mahogany color.
Nose fruity spice, fig date like sweet fruit, Belgian esters, herbal spices, little mincemeat like, sweet malt almost soy sauce thing, toasted oat, syrupy.
Taste syrupy sweet malt, toasted oat creamy note, big fruit fig paste and date, candied tree fruit, again big spices almost Indian date spices, mincemeat again, Belgian esters and little phenolic spice booze, molasses and banana bread, candied rum apple, weird spices.Finish little sticky but drier, hint of booze, lingering esters, fruit banana apple molasses rum bread.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb, little warming booze.
Overall eh, def an interesting beer, not great but an interesting beer but not great.
