Bought from the parents of the owners, at the brewery. Beige brown colour with a retained head. Aroma of hops, chocolate malt, honey. The chocolate malt in the taste dominates the spice of the star thistle honey. I liked the uncarbonated mead version better, I am a purist. Was better the next day when carbonation eased off somewhat.
