On tap at Kuhnhenn. Dark brownish with creamy head. Smell and taste are both very mild with notes of sweet caramel and roasted malts. Mouthfeel was thick and creamy. This was very drinkable without much complexity, which was probably the goal for this style.

2009 WinterSolstice. Some significant buttercotch in here, also tasted a little sugary and a little like wild yeast. Soapy head with carmel colour, and coffee ground in actual body. Above average mouthfeel. Roast aroma and in the taste, however not so pleasant toasty, as it was like real toast.
