I had this on-tap at the brewpub. Poured into a sample glass.
Appearance: Pours a clear amber with a layer of off white head that fades to a ring around the edge of the glass. Leaves some mild lacing.
Smell: Citrus peel hops with some mild pine notes and a hint of malt sweetness.
Taste: Citrus peel and pine hops. The tangerine and hops get together and remind me a little bit of cleaning solution. The finish is bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with tingly carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: I thought this beer tasted a bit weird. I didn't like the combination of flavors very much and wouldn't have it again.

Thanks to dschuster03 for the share.
A - Golden beer with a little bit of orange. Head didn't stay for long, left some whisps on the sides.
S - Geez, smells like I just cut into a tangerine. If you like tangerines, this smells divine. Some hops in there to keep it honest, and a little bit of alcohol.
T - It tastes like a healthy dose of tangerine. It's too much really, not much to balance it out, and the malt backbone detracts somehow. It doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste like a good beer.
M - Medium bodied, lower carbonation.
O - Wasn't a huge fan of this. I suppose it fit a tangerine gimmick beer, and the ingrediants tasted real, but needed something to balance it out a big, or just plain make it taste better.

Thanks, Dave (dschuster03)! Poured into Kuhnhenn tulip.
A - Pours a dark orange color, white head, thin collar.
S - A nice mix of hops and tangerines...pretty straight forward here. If you like tangerines, this is your beer. The hops almost take a back seat on the nose.
T - Tastes like tangerines and hops...who would have thunk? A little bigger alcohol note then I was expecting for 6%. I think the tangerines and hops created a slight medicinal note as well. A hoppy finish with little to no tangerine left.
M - Medium, kinda thick for an IPA, good carbonation, oily finish.
O - Like I said, if you like tangerines and hops, you'll probably like this one. The nose is better then the taste, but it's not all that bad. One glass was enough for me...would have another glass in the future, but not going to seek this one out.

Thanks to Dave (dschuster03) for picking up a growler of this brew on his way to Chicago. Served in a Russian River tulip.
A - Quick-dissolving white foam settles to a thin ring, some wisps on top, and no lacework. Transparent dark golden body.
S - Immense tangerine mingles with citrus hops. I love tangerines, and this is pretty hard to beat in that department. The only knock is a surprising alcohol note that seems out-of-place for a 6% IPA.
T - Unfortunately the taste isn't quite as good. There's plenty of tangerine, but there's an odd astringency in the finish. It's hop-forward, with minimal malt backing, but somehow comes off as muted.
M - Medium bodied, lower carbonation, and a super dry texture with plenty of residual hop oils in the finish.
D - The aroma is great, but the rest of the package is somewhat middling. If they could tweak the recipe to give the flavor a little more oomph this could be a real winner. However, at this stage I'd rather just smell the aroma than actually drink the beer.

Another new Kuhnhenn offering. Poured into a pint glass.
A - Pours a deep yellow orange with a very thin lacing of pale white head. Decent retention of the minimal head.
S - Smells of pure tangerine. Faint hint of bitter hops and a very very slight scent of caramel. Interesting, but the tangerine is definitely overpowering.
T - More hop profile here. Starts out with sweet tangerine, but transitions nicely to a bitter, dry hop finish. Still picking up a slight caramel note. Very good overall.
M - A bit too thin for my liking. Almost has a watery quality to it.
O - Overall a very solid IPA. Very nicely done.
