This one pours a very dark black color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like liquified cinnamon buns, and not in a good way – it’s just appallingly sugary on the nose.

I’ve been ride or die with Kuhnhenn for about a decade or more now, but this was just straight up not good. It’s just too heavily pastry, even for a pastry stout – it’s got that candied like liquid cinnamon sugar vibe, from a cinnamon bun, with vanilla frosting, caramel, and Hershey’s syrup. This is apparently barrel aged, but that’s super apparent, as it doesn’t temper the sweetness at all.

This is thick, and just too syrupy, with very little carbonation.

This wasn’t their best – and it’s near their worst. I really did not enjoy it.

I guess this is a new one because I had to add it. This is good. Definitely lives up to the description, as it is rich, flavorful, and sweet with just a little spice, topped with a boozy bourbon burn. Just a bit of oily thickness, vibrant alcohol presence, smooth mouth filling finish. Correction-this is very good.
