Thanks for sending me this, Steve.
Pours a clear golden orange. Smells incredibly strongly of apricots, there’s a bit of plastic to it, a little bit of tartness, too, maybe lightly grassy. Tastes of tart fruits, lots of apricots, a bit vinous, a touch of cherry and raisin. Medium bodied with no carbonation.

Bottle thanks to camil1mj. Cheers!
6 oz nip. Convolution is Kuhnhenns 9 Braggot with Apricots and aged with brettanomyces.
Pours flat, no head at all. A few bubbles can been seem escaping on occasion but for all practical terms this is a still braggot. Body is a burnt amber honey color.
The aroma is very interesting. Candied apricot aroma is dominant up front backed by a very earthy honey. The brett is rather subdued out of the bottle. As the liquid warms there is a slight musty aroma developing thanks to the brett.
Strong apricot sweetness coats the palate. As the braggot moves towards the back of the palate a pleasant tartness and alcoholic warmth develop. There is an underlying earthiness but the brett never becomes very assertive on the tongue.
Medium bodied braggot. Zero carbonation though the body manages to stay fairly light on the tongue. The sweeter apricot flavor does linger on the tongue but the overall finish is deceptively dry.
Very interesting braggot. The aroma and flavors are very interesting, very different. Convolution is quite enjoyable, the 6 oz bottle is a very appropriate serving size however, I am not sure I would want more. Glad I had the opportunity to enjoy this one, I will seek out more of the braggot and mead offerings from Kuhnhenn in the future.
