This Eisbock is made with tropical fruit juices, it has a finish of chocolate truffles. This lager has a wonderful balance of sweet malt and tart fruit.

375 ml bottle from Tavour. Cloudy golden pour, small short lived foamy head. Aroma is fruity, candied orange peel, juicy, tropical. Taste layers all of the aromas on top of a nice bulky, malty base. So delicious! Absolutely loved this!

12.7oz green bottle. Wax over cap. 2024 dated label.
Color of dark amber with a reddish tint. Brief appearance of beige head; there are enough rising bubbles to create a very thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma of toasted malt along with berry fruit - blueberry and strawberry. Nectar-like.
Taste is mostly sweet with a balancing tartness. Flavors of sweet caramel malt along with the fruit flavors - blueberry, strawberry, pear, peach, apple, and blackberry. Definite hint of chocolate. Aftertaste introduces the fruit skins to the mix.
More than medium mouthfeel. Concentrated syrup texture, sticky. Some vapors from the higher ABV% but mostly hidden by the sweet malts and fruits. Supportive carbonation.
Right on for style with the thick malts, sweetness, and fruits.
