This is a traditional German is dark, strong, and quite malty. Lots of malt on the nose and in the body of this lager.

Sweet and malty. Still amber and darker in hue and definitely something to have when it goes back on tap again. It is a solid recommendation for a winter beer and a good transition into spring.

Pours a clear light amber with a creamy white head that settles to a thin haze. Nice and buttery, with a light cereal graininess and some herbal hops. Taste is similarly grainy, with more cereal grains, caramel, toffee, and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is smooth, with a medium body and ample carbonation. Solid Bock overall, very drinkable.

Above average mouthfeel, caramel malts. Reddish tinge and lacey. Some bitter finish. Very decent beer,decent drinkability. on tap at the brewpub.Better than its rating in that I could have this on a regular basis. Revived after several years, a good idea.
