Had on nitro-tap at the brewpub. I don't know why an IPA was on nitro, I found that a bit odd.
Poured a transparent honey-brown color. The bright white head was initially very rocky. It died down to about an eighth of an inch pretty quickly but lasted for the whole glass. The entire glass was filled with lacing, it was a beautiful sight.
This one had a strong aroma. I don't know how to describe it other than saying it smelled like fresh baked bread.
The taste was much the same as the smell. It was not as bitter as I expected it to be, it was a very balanced beer. Truth be told I could taste the malt quite a bit in this one.
It felt rich and creamy in my mouth, yet was thin enough to be refreshing. It went down easy and I could see myself having quite a few of these in a night. A good session beer.
