12oz can from Boise Co-op. Dark brown pour, fizzy beige head. Aroma is roasty, coffee, sweet, notes of chocolate. Taste has sweetness up front, right before the bitter roast kicks in. Nice mouthfeel with some lingering bitterness.

Scrappy notes from 2005.
Enjoyed a pint of this beer at Henry's restaurant & pub in Portland, OR.
Dark brown with a light tan head, a firm kind of conifer bite up front but not too bitter then caramel, chocolate, a bit of coffee. Super smooth and creamy. Only had time for one pint as I had to be on time to tour the Widmir Brewery. TG Breakfast Porter is an excellent tasting porter with a beautiful feel.

Very light brown, almost a dark amber color. Head dissipates quickly. Mellow aroma, some floral notes I'm guessing come from hops, somewhat unusual for a porter. Sweet with mellow bitterness and astringency from the hops and roasted malts. Very bubbly on the tongue. Mellow is the word here, almost a little watered-down to me.

Pours a dark brown color with a 1 inch mocha head that sticks around.
Smell is interesting with dark malt and coffee, chocolate dominating, as well as a slight tartness in there as well.
Taste is more subdued than the nose with chocolate and coffee, dark fruits, and bitterness from hops.
Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, medium to light carbonation.
Overall a nice porter from a small local brewery.
