Look: Opaque burnt orange with a lively head that swells and starts collapsing right away to a film, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Pine, mandarins, wafts of berries, bready malt, and a little passionfruit
Taste: Kicks off with berries, blueberry and raspberry specifically, and quickly joined by a light citrus note. Pine takes charge for the back half and light tropical fruit notes are present, but in the background, along with malt and closes with pine, berries, and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full but light, very clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a clean finish with light dryness
Overall: I dig it. In this new age of Cold IPAs it was fun to see an old-school IPL and from a solid brewery and so of course, I had to try it and it’s good. An easy-drinking and well-made hoppy lager with interestingly pine and berry-heavy notes from the Mosaic hops. Worth the purchase and I'd definitely have/order it again

From a 12oz can purchased at the beer store.
Hops. Specifically Mosaic. Smell, taste, aftertaste, it's all hops. So hoppy it's hard to tell that it's a lager, except that it's clear and has a light, dry finish that doesn't linger on the bitterness. Despite the strength of the Mosaic and the 6%, this is actually a really pleasant, easy drinking beer. I've tried a few hoppy lagers that either try to do too much or too little. To date, this one is the winner.
