Look: Turbid orange with suspended floaties and my pour causes a luscious head to form, hold, and slowly settle, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Passionfruit, candied orange, pineapple, boysenberries, coconut, cedar shavings, melon, pink grapefruit, and bready malt
Taste: Starts off with berries and tropical fruit that begin to develop as a huge sweet coconut and pineapple wave crashes the party and takes over. Berries and tropical fruit are joined by citrus and melon and go back and forth with the pina colada aspect well until it closes with citrus and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly soft, medium-high carbonation, and mild felt dryness on the finish
Overall: I dig it. This is an extremely flavorful and unique ‘juicy’ IPA that has a lot going on but is executed well and luckily, doesn’t have a dominant flavor throughout that smothers other, more subtle ones. The Galaxy/Sabro/Strata combo will definitely take your palate for a spin and gladly, a tasty one. Recommended
