Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: rich brown hue with a finger of frothy dark-tan foam. Looks good.
Smell: malt’s a little sweet with a good dose of roastiness and chocolate along with the coffee. There’s a little bit of kind of a green vegetal character, here, but that’s not unheard of in coffee stouts.
Taste: moderately sweet with more of a coffee character than the aroma; it’s less subtle, but it’s actually still pretty good. I’m down.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: fans of coffee stouts will not be disappointed with this beer. I’ll enjoy sipping on this for the next hour.

Look: As expected, pours a deep brown and looks black in the glass with a light brown head that settles to a lid, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Dark chocolate, coffee, roast, lightly toasted tree nuts, earthiness, molasses, and dark caramel
Taste: Opens up with a nice hit of roast and roasted barley that linger before chocolate and coffee come crashing in. Layers of chocolate and coffee, along with roasted buts, molasses, and caramel shine while earthiness works to balance it out through the close
Mouthfeel: Full, smooth, medium-high carbonation, and decently dry and robust on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. A coffee stout from TG?! Yep, I’m in and it was a good one as it’s a well-made, robust-finishing stout with all the usual cast of characters, plus the nice coffee note throughout that works so well in the style. Definitely worth the purchase and worth checking out

16oz pours out dark black and yields an opaque liquid capped with multiple-fingers-worth of khaki head, Lovely nose of coffee roast, slightly bittersweet with impressions of chocolate, cocoa, and maybe some dark fruits poking through on the coffee bean profile. Bitterness is subdued with some sweet malt and chocolate notes, but overall the coffee presence is start to finish. Pretty decent little coffee stout.
