On tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a dark cola brown color. A two finger beige head forms with good retention. Plenty of lace is left behind.
S: Big roast up front. Coffee, chocolate, toasted malts even. Light fruity esters that showcase the English yeast. Simple and to the point, but really well incorporated.
T: Like the nose. Roasted and toasted malts can be picked out. Baked bread with coffee and chocolate. Fruity esters. Love the simplicity here, and really well made.
M/O: A light to medium body. Good carbonation, that is also ultra smooth. So easy to drink, downed in big gulps and something that I can have multiple pints of with ease.
A great sessionable English style porter. Just spot on, and something I wish they would make more of. Love it.
