Poured from a 16oz can into a Willi Becher pint glass. Pours clear golden with a finger and a half of soapy white foam head. Smells of bready malt and clean lager yeast. Subtle earthy hops. I dig the nose but the taste is kind of just okay. A little on the bland side. It’s smooth and drinkable but if it tasted as good as it smells it would be an amazing lager. Medium-full mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Like Blind Pig Reserve better. And it’s cheaper per four pack.

Currently this is at 5% ABV. I originally thought this was a Pilsner that uses blue corn, but it is just a straight up traditional offering.
A: Pours a beautifully clear golden/yellow color. A dense two finger white head forms with excellent retention and rings of lace left down the glass.
S: Saaz hops all the way up front. Grassy, earthy, spicy hop aromas. Grains and bread mixed in for balance. Very nice.
T: Like the nose lots of grassy hops. Earthy, with a peppery spice, and lemon rind. Grains, baked bread and biscuit malts to balance everything out, with a sturdy lingering bitterness.
M/O: A light to medium body. Excellent carbonation, supper clean and dry. Really easy to drink and put a few away. I can come back to this a lot.
A really well made pilsner that showcases Saaz hops well. Another excellent offering from Blind Pig, and another reason why I wish this is a local I can get all the time.

Hazy dark gold, compact head of foam, spotty lacing.
Crisp and clean with a little bit of biscuity malt and lemony hop aroma.
Grassy and lemony noble hop bitterness, biscuity malt, dry finish.
Light bodied, smooth and easy drinking with a medium carb level.
Pretty much an exemplary Pils to me, fairly hoppy, crisp and dry.
