A: Pours a clear orange/yellow color. A dense two finger white head forms with good retention and lace left behind.
S: Aromatic with lots of pine and citrus notes. Not much of a malt presence which is fine. Simple, but pungent and enjoyable.
T: Citrus rind, orange and lemon. Pine and resin. There is a bit more malt coming through here. Caramel with a light sweetness. Though bitterness lingers on that brings this all around.
M/O: A medium to full body. Crisp carbonation at first. It becomes more resin like, and with a bit of sweetness. Though finishes dry. Easy to come back to, a nice go to option if in the Champaign area.
I have had this a lot over the years, though never gotten around to put my review down. A very solid IPA, that keeps its old school bonafides and still being approachable. Glad most spots around Champaign/Urbana carries this.

Enjoyable beer, but a bit heavy on the hops for my liking. That being said its not terribly hoppy for an ipa. This beer has a very refreshing blend of citrus and pine, and i could see myself reaching for one after a long day of hard work. So far ive yet to try a beer from blind pig i havent liked, and i hope they continue to keep adding brews and distribute them more widespread

This is a really enjoyable IPA. Hoppy, but not overly so. Pine and citrus come through and there is a nice malt balance. I think the best compliment is the pull to have a second bottle. On draft it is a little smoother. Definitely worth a try even if you did not graduate from UI.

Good easy to drink beer here. I like the approach they took with a thin body, but a strong hoppiness from front to back. Citrus and pine, solid. Give it a try.
