Cloudy amber body with yellow highlights topped by two pillow fingers of bone white froth; good duration and ample lacing on the tulip leave me impressed. Good smell, very fruity with apple and pear, and strong yeasty overtones.

Same goes for the taste, which contains pear and sour apple to spare, with a hint of lemon zest. Slight sour finish to offset the semi-sweet flavor base; good stuff. The mouthfeel has it right--creamy, smooth, with a bit of hop zest and nice, steady effervescence; strong texture provides a good backbone to Blind Pig's wares.

Again, BP has offered a fine version of a style that isn't easy to nail. Splendid work by Bill the brewmaster, and I'll be sure to return for more of this and the rest of their wares.
