An easy drinking session ale in the English style. Fruity and malty aromas at the start, with plenty of hops leading into a dry finish. Dry hopped with East Kent Goldings.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden/orange color. A two finger white head forms with excellent retention. Rings of sticky lace is left all the way down the glass.
S: Toasted malts up front that are a treat. Some fruity esters of apples and pears. That eventually fades to an amazing hop aroma. Citrus, grassy, floral. Lingering grapefruit. The nose packs a lot.
T: Like the nose, a lot going on here. Slightly sweet malts up front. Then the wonderful fruity ester come into play. The apples and pear flavors are perfect for the style. Lots of hop flavors coming out as well. Grassy, floral, light pine and a lingering grapefruit bitterness that brings everything together.
M/D: A light to medium body. Well carbonated, smooth, clean, and with a bit of dryness. So easy to drink. The definition of a session beer. Easily, all day with this one.

I have always seemed to miss this. I am glad I was finally able to have a few pints. This is already world class, but would be even better if served via cask. No bother. Still an amazing example of a true session beer. Even without a cask, one of the best versions of a bitter I have had in the US. Very highly recommended. Well done.
