From a 600 mL bottle, thanks Jon,
A: Pours a medium to dark brown with a small off-white head, with some spotty lace.
S: Nice easy going malty aroma with some chocolate for sure, prunes, hint of molasses.
T: Flavour is mix of bittersweet chocolate, nut notes and secondary dark fruit flavours. A well balanced taste.
M: Smooth and crisp. Medium-bodied for sure, fairly refreshing for its style.
O: A nice beer, my first from Mistura. Well made and the flavour should please anyone.

The Brazilian package from srbcurti continues to roll along. One more Brazilian beer to taste. From a 600 ml bottle, on to the beer:
Dark brown color with whips up good spotty lace around the glass initially. The nose tkes some time to get used to because it is somewhat subtle. Dates, canteloupe, melons, and even some roasty notes arise.
Is this a Belgian-style stout? This beer has some characteristics of a stout and the Strong Dark Ale families. Mildly fruity and melony with some roasted character. Its 7% ABV is nowhere to be found, and with its smooth medium mouthfeel, turns out to be a more than decent offering from Mistura Clássica.
