Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

This beer was a gusher and poured a yellow color with a huge white head. The aroma has a good bit of bread and wheat it in, without too much else. The flavor is not what I expected from a hefeweizen. I get a lot of citrus fruit, as well as some bread, grass, wheat and spices. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Unfortunately this beer had no head at all? It does have a nice hay like color and just the right amount of hazy cloudiness. It smells of sweet bananas and the taste is a bready, yeasty and the nose follows right over onto the tip of the tongue. The finish is really clean and surprising crisp. Just a little touch of citrus at the end. Defiantly one of the better efforts from Battered Boar.
