500ml Can: BBD Sep 14, poured into a 'Fosters' pint glass at home on 27th Nov 13. The penultimate beer (and 5th) of a Lager/Pilsner tasting session with myself.
Looked the usual supermarket Lager/Pilsner golden colour, a little darker than some, but still that clean, clear and bright sparkle they often have. The typical non-staying white head was also an attribute this can had.
The smell and taste were not too great to be honest: sweet, malty and 'tinny', remember those Barley Sugar sweets from your childhood? Well give them a metallic twang and you've almost got the flavour of this beer.
Not a good beer at all, not even an average beer really, but I obtained it in the South of France because they had was such a poor choice of beers down there it had to be bought or I'd have brought home next to no beers at all.
