Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub, served in a 1/2 pint, probably for our own protection.
Small film of a head above this root beer hued brew. Heavy, malty, boozy nose. The syrupy liquid goes down smooth, coating the tongue and lips with a malty, warming taste. Makes smacking your sticky lips a must. A nice dopplebock, worth the wait for the slow pour.
