Hijos de Rivera is a bright beer, has a light golden colour and a white low foamy head with impaired retention.
The nose is basically grainy and a weak malt aroma. It tastes like grains, sweet malts and very little hops.
It is slightly dry, presents average carbonation and medium to low alcoholic strength. Light body.
The finish starts sweet and gradually turns to a bitter aftertaste.
Overall Hijos de Rivera is a common macro lager. Nothing terrible but nothing to put it above the beer mass market.
