Copenhagen 30/5 2020. 33 cl bottle from Supervin.dk webshop. Unusual to make a series of beer dedicated to the German Bunkers along the west coast of Jutland in Denmark. Desolate picture of a bunker on the label.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a medium-sized off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong caramel-ish sweetness and a cake-like quality. Caramel, toffee, hazelnuts, butter, chocolate. A dry, lightly citric odor rummaging in the background.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense and with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and caramel-ish.
Fairly intense Brown Ale from the sweeter part of town.
