Copenhagen 8/11 2020. 50 cl bottle from Spar, Margrethevej, Hirtshals. Painting of a lady with purple lipstick, a bird for a hat and a dead fish as a accessory. Lighthouse in the background.
Pours murky dark amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong, sweet maltiness in dominance. Lightly roasted malts, caramel, toffee, hints of brown sugar. Nuts. Metallic notes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while into a sweet and flat finish.
Quite malty and sweet and a bit flat. Not much else.
