Løkken 5/7 2023. 33 cl. chubby bottle from Meny, Industrivej, Løkken. Løkken Brewery’s usual design with a white monolith wearing a red Christmas cap.
Pours opaque murky dark brown with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Disappears after a short while leaving a Long Island Ice Tea behind.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a light tart and grainy scent. Caramel and toffee. Sweet biscuit. Whiff of tart currants.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is surprisingly tart and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Murky and a bit confused.
