Løkken 4/7 2023. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Industrivej, Løkken. Watercolor of an old warehouse on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a earthy scent. Sweet caramel, toffee and a bit of humid tobacco. Whiff of brown chocolate sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Pretty light and drinkable Porter
