Quick: Pours nice and gold with little haze, a decent head but almost no lacing. Smell is hops forward, along with fairly substantial malts, more than expected. The taste was nice and hoppy, but the malts spoiled the taste of this beer a little. It was just a little too malty, I suspect this was an old bottle. Feel was nice though, fairly light with somewhat aggressive carbonation. Finish was bitter from the hops, but definitely offset by the malts.
Not bad, I have to wonder if it would have been different if it were fresher, but I can only judge what I have.

I bought this beer in a bottle but poured it into a glass. It has a light orange, slightly foggy look to it, and boy is it tasty. A very light and floral double IPA, with a beautiful citrus undertone. I would absolutely buy this beer again!

From a bottle at La Cuvee.
Quite sweet off the bat but has a bit of a medicinal feel, too green hops? Rough around the edges (not quite in a good way) and uneven. Disappointing especially considering what other breweries are doing.

Cloudy, dirty gold color. Lasting head which leaves a nice ring of lace initially and a blanket thereafter.
Rich caramel aroma similar to candied apples. The hop is floral and slightly earthy and far more mild than most DIPA.
Oily mouthfeel from the high alcohol content which is notable for its warmth as well. The malt is masked by this. The hop comes through is a harsh and dominating way. The swallow brings a nice balance of pale malt, strong alcohol and biting bitterness. Carbonation is on the high side.

Pours and hay in color with 2-3 fingers foamy head with good retention and lacing. The nose is fresh with citrusand nice floral notes with hints of sweet, bready malt. The taste is hop forward, again both citrus and floral with just enough malt for balance. The mouthfeel is light and lively for an 8% beer; nice.

From a 500ml bottle dated 20 Octobre 2015.
L: A glowing peach-coloured brew with a generous crown of sloppy froth, fairly decent retention, and much sticky lacing.
S: Balsam and fresh bread, kiwi, mango and orange. This has got to rank amongst my top-five best smelling beers of all time!
T: Mango-peach shortcake! The high abv mainlines fruity esthers into the sinuses making it impossible to determine where the nose leaves off and the palate picks up. Did I already say mangoes? Mangoes. Nicely balanced. There's lingering bitterness but it takes a good while to notice.
F: Light carbonation, creamy, silky smooth.
O: Don't judge a book by it's cover! Boring label conceals an outstanding IIPA that can go head-to-head with Vermont's finest. If this were available down here, I'd drink it every week, I swear I would!

Clear golden color with a nice 1 inch head that fades slowly with a good lacing. Powerful smell of hops, with fresh grapefruit and lemon odors. And attack of hops bitterness but really easy to drink, nice malt character. You couldn't guess it's an 8% beer. Dry finish. Really nice double IPA, really well rounded for that much hops.

Needs more malt tones to fit into what I expect from a DBL IPA. But hey - I'm American what do I know about French Canadian DBL IPA's

Bottled about 6 months ago.
A - Cloudy light golden colour. Three finger white fluffy head. Good carbonation. Spotty lace and a solid finger of retention.
S - Lemon, grass, orange, bread. Mild nose.
T - Nice lemon, spritsy, orange, booze, grass, lot's of citrus, mango.
M - Good carbonation, medium body, good bitterness.
O/D - Not bad for a DIPA that is 6 months old. While I'm sure it's pretty darn good fresh, this isn't half bad. Malt body is light, leaning more towards Vermont style. I liked it.
