Much appreciate this CanBIF bottle!
Pours a beautifully dark & opaque black with a decent head. The oddly sweet aroma is complemented by the roasted spectrum within the taste, lots of nice chocolate and coffee notes. It finishes with a pleasant bitterness despite not having much of a hop punch. A decent beer that I'm glad to have tried, but more "black" than "IPA".

Pitch black with a nice 1-inch creamy head. In the nose it's mostly fruits and hops, black licorice, not bad but it's not that enjoyable. Better in the mouth, nice roasted malt taste with a crisp bitterness. Far from incredible but it's still a nice Black IPA.

Bottle: Poured a clear black color ale with a medium size foamy head with a large foamy head and OK retention. Aroma of dry roasted malt notes offset by some fruity hops notes. Taste is dominated by roasted malt with some fruity hops and a dry aftertaste. Body is bit light for style with good carbonation. Hops flavours didn’t came through as much as I would have liked but still an enjoyable beer.
