From a 500ml bottle, dated 04/12/17. Served in a spiegelau.
Pours a barely cold-hazed, bright copper-gold with two-plus fingers of whipped, pouffy head. Retention is excellent and leaves a solid wall of clumping lace.
Nose is richly malty with peach and cherry as well as a little solventy cat pee.
Taste is a balanced melange of biscuity malt, fruit basket and musk. Finishes with some resin and bitterness.
Feel is crisp, medium bodied, brightly carbonated, drying and much boozier than the stated abv would seem to warrant.
An enjoyable enough take on a single hop IPA although, if I had had to guess which single hop it was, mosaic would have been far, far down the list. Luckily, they printed it on the label.

A:
Pours a fairly clear golden color with three fingers of beige head that stays put pretty good. Goopy lacing; great retention. (4.25)
S:
Green hops, fruits and beefy light-malt body. (3.75)
T:
Follows the nose. Mix of citrus rind, toast, cereal and forest floor. (3.75)
M:
Medium bodied with active carbonation and a finish that is pretty dry and bitter. (4)
O:
This is a nice “standard” single hop IPA.
It is not the best IPA these guys make, but considering how infrequently they make the good one, this one'll do in a pinch. It is beefy malt-wise with the hops brining some earthiness and fruitiness to the rest of it. I wonder but what the hops are older or weren't stored ideally, because having this one next to other beers with Mosaic (especially American ones) you would not immediately think it was the same hop as this one is not super fruity. Nonetheless it makes for a tasty, bitter IPA (of the older school). (3.75)

Bottle: Poured a golden amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of citrus with light tropical notes is quite nice. Taste is a nice mix of tropical fruits notes with some resinous notes with light bitterness and malt undertones. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed but the Mosaic hops didn’t shine as much as I was expecting.
