Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a nice large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of strong floral coffee notes with some bitter roasted malt notes with some warming bourbon notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of bitter roasted malt notes with some floral coffee notes with some dry warming bourbon notes with woody notes also noticeable. Body is full with somewhat of an oily texture with good carbonation and some waring alcohol notes. Very well brewed with loads of character.
