A:
Pours a clear golden amber color with a pretty respectable beige head that is creamy and "porous." Really good retention; nice honeycomb lacing.
S:
Spicy hops with some strong green apple and clove notes with a notable caramel malt backbone. Really good.
T:
Surprisingly malty. Some dirty hop flavors right off the bat; dirt, leaves, some biscuity malt with a borderline medicinal finish. Also has a really prevalent "woody afterbirth," as Michael Scott would say.
M:
Crisp and bubbly (creamy head serves as a good counterpoint to this). Light body. Quiet finish.
O:
Much better than I had anticipated. Very pretty, nice-smelling brew that quenches your thirst and is fairly enjoyable. What more could you want?
In my opinion it is a little too carbonated (pretty prickly) and could do with a tad more hops, but other than that it is decent.
Would have again. Not worth trampling your mother to get ahold of, though.

The color is copper to amber... one could say dark copper color. Nice head on top of it. It disappear quickly 'tho. The aroma is caramel malts with some tropical fruits from the hops. Well balanced. In the mouth, it has a good body... it is fruity with a light bitterness in the end. Easy to drink. A good APA. Nothing out of this world, but pretty solid for an american Pale Ale.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light citrus notes with some earthy notes is quite refreshing. Taste is a good mix between some solid citrus and earthy hops notes and some lightly sweet caramel malt notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Well brewed and easy drinking APA with good refreshing factor.

500ml Bottle from the SAQ QC for 4.50$
Appearance - Hazy copper colour with an average size fizzy beige coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some decent lacing. The head lasted for around 4-5 minutes. There were also some particles floating around.
Smell - Hops, malts, caramel
Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste caramel and hops. There is also some very faint grapefruit, pepper, and something along the lines of cardboard... It ends with a stale semi sweet burnt caramel and peppery hop aftertaste.
Overall – There is a best before section on the label.. but it is blank. Not sure how old this bottle is, but something seems off. It's not undrinkable, it's just a bit odd tasting. To think, for the same price (and sitting right beside it on the shelf) I could have had a Rochefort 10.

A random scored at the SAQ on a recent trip to Montreal. Identified as a bottle fermented American Pale Ale.
A - Pours a burnt copper colour, finger of head with some retention and nice sporadic lacing.
S - Nose is dominated by cedar hop notes, burnt caramel with a fruity lemon finish.
T - Uniquely flavoured, spiced pepper, citrus and cedar hops, burnt wood, caramel, hints of cloves, and a fruity finish with hints of sweet burnt sugar and citrus iced tea. A nice citrus bitterness lingers on the finish.
M - Medium bodied, smooth, and surprisingly wet on the finish.
O - A tasty tweak on a classic style. The bottle fermentation seems to have added a fruity twist, with a solid cedar hop profile that has a nice lingering bitterness. Glad I stumbled upon this treat.
