Blue star cinco peso. Copper color on the light side. High white foam. Sharp citrus nose. Light malt body, pine evergreen taste. Grapefruit. Mild bitter. Some rind. Nice brew. 4 35 375 375 375

Darker and maltier than many Pale Ales. Nice hop flavors make for a very drinkable beer. Not exceptional or noteworthy, but a good quality pale.

On tap at the brewpub in San Antonio.
Appearance: Pours amber with a semi-durable head that leaves good lacing.
Feel: Near medium body and medium carbonation.
Flavor: Appropriately hoppy. Some malt flavor with a dominate input from hops. Moderately bold for style. .
O: good but not great.
Immediately afterwards, I had a special cask-conditioned version of this beer. AS expected, it had lower, softer carbonation, a much weaker head, and some subtle changes similar to those produced by aging.
