Sharp, alcoholic burn as it goes down. Sweet smell, excellent flavor. Color is a deep amber, head was thin, but held up. The waiter said that it usually only took one to get a "buzz", and taking that as a dare, I had two. And that was more than enough. Definitely worth the trip to San Antonio.

Pours a hazed, impressive amber, apricot color with a thick, pillowy white head that falls to a splotchy coat afloat the beer. Smell is sweet, light brown sugar, some tropical floral and mango aromas, vanilla and bourbon definitely come through. Taste is very complex. The tropical floral notes compete with the bourbon and finish with a sweet vanilla bean finish that slides into the throat with some alcohol burn. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry but the bourbon does cling to the tounge and make a presence for quite a while. Impressive!
