This scotch style brew is a dark red-brown color. The aroma is sweet and lightly smoky hinting of a powerful beer within. The flavor is of grapefruit and sweet malt. A very drinkable beer for the style, a little too drinkable and quite disappointing. Not nearly as smoky as I was looking forward too. A fruity scotch ale seems just wrong.
