Deep brown, with ruby edges when held to light. Foamy, light tan head.
Roasty, lightly smokey malts. Light cocoa/vanilla sweetness as well. Just enough hoppy, bitter bite at the end to keep it in balance.
Typical mouthfeel from a porter, medium body, light foamy carbonation.
A solid porter, though I would have liked to see more jalapeno and vanilla.
