I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at McMenamins in Mill Creek, WA.
Appearance: rich amber hue with a moderate haze. Head is a finger of creamy ivory foam. Quite good!
Smell: lightly sweet malt with a little caramel character. Not a lot of complexity here, but not too bad.
Taste: caramelly with a nice sweetness. Hops are almost minty in character. Bitterness is on the mild side of moderate overall not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: not a bad Irish red; maybe a little on the bitter side for the style.
