On tap at McMennamins Rock Creek Tavern.
A clear orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing, this is solid. The nose is bright and refreshing, with the citrus and tropical fruit notes - orange, lemons, mild mango - present. This was brewed with Vienna and it shows. There's a mild doughy note present. The characteristic McMennamins chalky note is present as well. The palate opens with a blend of moderate hop flavor, mild bitterness and some doughy sweetness. The chalky, carbonic water profile is clear on the midpalate, lending a mineral note that I'm not a huge fan of. Refreshing if inoffensive stuff, and much better than the food.
