This beer was a little odd smelling, almost had a sour aroma. Underneath the sour smell there wasn't much to it, maybe a hint of hops. Nice medium size and creamy head and had a nice dark red color. The taste was fairly bland, not to much to say. Very mild bitterness, slightly sweet, and thin. It was easy to drink as long as you can get past the smell.
Bottom Line - definately not one of MeMenamins better beers but ok if you want something light.

I'm getting heckled by friends and wife as I jot down notes. Better make it quick...
poured nicely into a 12oz glass, deep amber with a brown center. Poor lighting made it difficult to accurately judge the color, but the head was fantastic. Creamy bubbles that relished in any movement. It the quality of a nitrogen pour. The aroma is somewhat acrid, and it reminds me of the janitors special sawdust mix after it has been used to clean up tossed cookies. The taste is fairly simple, clean and somewhat sweet with definate peat notes. The mouth is left feeling somewhat smokey but with a slight sensation of sugar.
