A densely translucent ale with a mild citric flavor and herbaceous hop presence, Foxtail has a dry, grainy aroma and a pencil thin head with showy lace. The bittering is sharp, like an American ESB, with a slight flourish of yeast in the aroma. A pleasant summer seasonal.

On tap at Boons Treasury , Salem, Oregon.
The appearance of the ale is a nice amber colour with a large and frothy ,slightly off white head.
Theres a curious caramel aroma ( very unusual for a Pale Ale here in the NW)..but its underspinned bu some slight hop spicyness.
This is a very smooth and almost creamy tasting Pale..quite malty..ah I know how this is an English Pale.
Very little carbonation..but great taste..if you like your Pale with a more balanced profile.
Very nice on the palate , exceptionally smooth.
Very drinkable ale..it didnt seem very "strong" so this would make a great session drinker.

Came out a cloudy pale gold under a one finger white head with good retention and a bit of lace. The nose was mildly hoppy, mostly floral but with a bit of pine. The mouth was prickly and medium bodied. Good pale ale taste with a blend of malt sweetness and flowery hops in a nice balance. The aftertaste was, however, a bit watery.
