I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the McMenamins Queen Anne in Seattle.
Appearance: rich amber-brown hue with a dash of haze and a finger of tan foam.
Smell: lightly malty with a dash of caramel and basically no smoke.
Taste: sweet with a toasty character, some caramel and just a dash of smoke. Light but not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess.
Overall: the way this beer was billed, I would have liked more smoke. That said, it's a nicely drinkable beer the way it is.
