I had this beer on nitro at McMenamins Six Arms in Seattle. This is both a milk stout *and* an oatmeal stout.
Appearance: very dark brown, nearly black, with a finger of creamy tan foam only achievable via nitro. Looks good.
Smell: light, a little sweet and a little roasty.
Taste: sweet, a little chocolatey and a little roasty. The flavor eventually rounds out with a bit of bitterness, but it starts off rather too sweet. Still, overall a tasty beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a nice well integrated carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: this beer is tasty enough, but too sweet to drink all that much of.
