I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the McMenamins Six Arms in Seattle.
Appearance: rich brown hue with a little bit of haze and a finger of frothy tan foam. Nice.
Smell: a nice caramel character, although without too much sweetness. There's also a hint of bitter here which is nice.
Taste: biscuity and bready, as befits the style, but with a nice caramel sweetness. Not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and decent creaminess.
Overall: a bit dry for an altbier, but nicely drinkable indeed.
