I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at McMenamins Six Arms in Seattle.
Appearance: hazy rich brown hue with a thick finger of creamy tan foam atop. Quite attractive.
Smell: lightly roasty; that bit is nice but the aroma is way too light to be truly good.
Taste: roasty and a bit astringent; definitely on the dry side. Not bad, but not particularly complex.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and good creaminess.
Overall: a very drinkable beer; reminds me a bit of a dry Irish stout. Worth a try.
